Early Days Back in Seattle

When I was first rekindling my love for taking pictures, I was living in Seattle with my newly wedded husband. He inspired me to start picking up my old hobbies, and so I dabbled here and there in my love for taking photos. Being the wonderful man that my husband is, he also agreed to be my subject for practice. I must admit, I love taking photographs of my man ;)

We adored our new home together, and had the pleasure, and I mean pleasure, of picking it out together when we were engaged. It was an old 1920's apartment building with wooden floors and a spacious floor plan right in the middle of Capitol Hill Seattle. The elevator was very vintage equipped with a metal gate you had to open and close to go up and down. We loved watching as the floors would slowly pass while we rode to the top level. We had the corner apartment which meant lots of beautiful windows.

My handsome husband
I remember this day so clearly. We were walking
around Seattle, and I was showing Michael all my
favorite spots, Tully's Coffee being one of them :)
